Lewis Glinert

Lewis Glinert is Professor of Hebrew Studies and Linguistics at Dartmouth College. A graduate of Magdalen College, Oxford, he is the author of seven books, including The Joys of Hebrew (Oxford) and The Story of Hebrew (Princeton), a National Jewish Book Council finalist and one of CHOICE Magazine’s 'Outstanding Academic Titles for 2017'. Glinert’s 1989 documentary celebrating the rebirth of Spoken Hebrew was nominated by the BBC for a Sony Award.
